STANLEY On June 28, 2023, Eugene Stanley Wilson, age 74, passed away peacefully at his home after an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his father, General Green Wilson; his mother, Henrietta Marie Brandon Wilson; siblings, Woodrow Wilson and his wife Dorothy, David Wilson and his wife Evelyn, Curtis Wilson and his wife Daisy, Fred Wilson, Doris Huff and her husband Pete, Juanita Freeman and her husband John; and his great granddaughter Myalisa. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Joyce; one son, Michael; two daughters, Nicole (Penny) and Temilia; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; his sister, Deborah Wilson; two brothers-in-law, Walter Miller III, and Tyrone Miller (Michel); and three sisters-in-law Barbara Carver (Frank Jr.), Ramona Miller, and Shirley Morris; two loving aunts and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service in memory of Eugene will be held on Sunday, July 23 at 2:00pm, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses,14048 Greenwood Church Road, Ashland, Virginia 23005.

The last time I saw my uncle was at the hospital when my dad got sick. You taught us alot. You taught me how to treat ladies and so many other things. I wish I would not have lost touch with you. I didn't even know you were sick for so long. Well,l will miss you and I couldn't asked for a better uncle. Rest easy

Words can´t express how much I miss you dad aka my fofo. You meant the world to me because of you I´m the women I am today you and grandma raised me to do right and treat others with kindness and love that´s how you were. I never heard anything bad come out your mouth one thing for sure two things for certain you always took care me and grandma made sure I had the best of everything. I remember when I was a little girl I got in the back seat of the car and hide and when you got to where you was going I would pop up and say surprise!! And you would say oh no penny and turn back around and take me back to the house and cried my eyes out because I wanted to be with you that you stayed home with me. Pop I remember also you got me a red tricycle I call myself driving it and left it in the drive way parked and you backed over it omg I was crying so much you went out the next day and got me another one I was spoiled to you my fofo. That´s why it´s so hard to believe you´re not here . I´m truly grieving and this will take time. Trying to get the courage to tell your grandson Aaron this one hurts for sure. I can´t even sleep let alone eat God give me the strength. Rest in Heaven my Fofo until we meet again your daughter Penny

You will be truly missed pop pop. I always remember the fun times we had when coming down spending time with y´all and going to amusement parks and beach. I think we are two of a kind and that´s why I was named after him I wasn´t originally but at the waking hour my mom change my name I hope he knew how much I loved him and still do And I always prayed for him and my aunt.
