To my dearest, Gail. You will always be in my heart. I know you will always be safe and warm as God watches over you, and now Bill is with you. You always told me I was your biggest link and you have always been my anchor. I think of you every day and I will never forget you and Bill, my best friends, our love unconditional always and forever. I pray daily for strength for your family and my family to survive the loss and pain we feel. There are no words special enough to put in this book, but for you as Jimmy Buffet put it "Moonlight and Magnolias", and "stars fell on us last night"

Forever and Always, Joyce Harmon Keller, Matt and Adam Keller

My heart goes out to each and every one of you. I am so saddened to hear about Gail. She was always so nice to me while being friends with the Ashby's and when I worked at State Farm. While I haven't seen any of you in quite a while, I have often thought of each and every one of you. You are in my prayers. God Bless.

Romans 8:18-19, (Future Glory).."consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed."

Our faith in God's plan is what gives us comfort and Gail's recent re-dedication to Christ confirms that God is always with us.

Gail, as my oldest sister, I grew up learning so much from you. I looked up to you in so many ways, and even through your death, my eyes have once again been opened. I love you forever, and know we will be together again. Love,Joy

To the entire Mays and Ashby family-I wish I could send more than condolenses to your family. Gail and Dick Ashby were always ones with compassion in their hearts.Thru the many years Gail worked at State Farm, it was as tho she and her father were so much in harmony, with compassion in their hearts. Gail's children were and are loved so much by Gail and her devoted husband Bill. Good Luck and Good Wishs in your road of healing Dick and Bill.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Ashby...Linda and Joy,

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Gail had been so helpful to me, my brothers, and to my mom & dad (daddy passed last year) while we were all (at one time or another) customers of State Farm.

I last ran into her while shopping at Ukrops...just after one of her night shifts and I am so glad I had an opportunity to "catch up" on her and you sisters! Be Blessed and know that she is in a far better place.

Love, Cindy Cook Adams

There are no words... I have once again lost a sister. There will no longer be Ginny, Gail, and Berta. My heart is with her children and Bill. My heart is still trying to heal from a death in January, so this just "takes the cake". Much love to all family of my friend from the age of 13.

To Gails family, there are so many but I send my thoughts to her children, parents, sisters, who I know are in anquish now. I recently lost a loved one, and have no great advice, but to take comfort in the entries people put in this book as well as every card, for they were picked with care. I greatly loved Gail, she was a very special person. I miss her terribly already, as you all must. I am sure all this grief is consuming and confusing. But Gail loves each and every one of you. You all are such a wonderful family and always have been. Dick and Lorraine did a wonderful job in raising this family. May the love of your family and the years of having that love help carry you through this grief. For the children and Bill, I am sure she is looking over you, loving you.

If I can be of any help to any of you, my email is left. May God send you calmness and peace in your grieving. Love, Deborah Hooper (Odell)
