Harold Levy

LEVY, Harold, died peacefully, surrounded by family, at the age of 88, on August 25, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rose and Harry; his brother, Louis; and his daughter, Rochelle. He was born and raised in Danbury, Conn., where he lived for 67 years. Harold graduated from UCONN in 1953. In 1960 he was decorated as a heavy weapons infantryman in the National Guard. He worked as an industrial engineer and purchasing agent. He moved to Va. upon his retirement in 2001, where he resided for 21 years. Harold had a passion for black coffee, a well landscaped yard, fly fishing, trap shooting, duck hunting, photography and wood working. He was fascinated with how things worked, could fix anything around the house and enjoyed helping others. He is survived by his doting wife of 62 years, Selma; his daughter, Susan; grandchildren, Sydney and Seth and three great-grandchildren. His quick wit and kind compassionate spirit will be missed by all. Celebration of Life: October 16, 2 p.m. at Arbor Landing Clubhouse, 6201 Iron Bridge Pkwy., Chester.
