Linda Wallace Obituary

WALLACE, Linda , 69 of Glen Allen was called home by the Lord on January 5, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her Husband of 20 years Stephen Wallace, both parents Audrey Atkinson and Vaughan Atkinson, her baby sister Sharon Harper, Brother in-law Richard Pillow and Best Friend Ginger Goodman among other family members and friends. She is survived by a daughter April, a son Barry (Stephanie), a sister Pattie Atkinson, two grandsons Brandon and Zachary, a niece Jennifer Gay (Scott), a nephew Brian Pillow (Allison), two great-nephews Sean Gay and Cameron Pillow, one great-niece Megan Gay among other family and friends. She was a beloved member of Christ United Methodist Church for over 40 years.

Family and friends will gather on January 27, 2024 at Christ United Methodist Church (6818 West Grace St. Richmond, VA 23226) for visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by her Celebration of Life Service. Burial will follow at Westhampton Cemetery 10000 Patterson Ave. Richmond, VA 23238. Please wear her favorite color purple to her service. Instead of flowers make a donation to Christ United Methodist Church or The World Wildlife Foundation in her memory.

She was my cousin and I hadn't seen her for more years than I should admit to say, but I always knew Linda to be a girl of strong feelings, a woman unafraid to be herself and she enjoyed a good laugh. She will be missed by many and was loved by many. We will see her again.
