Loree Dawson Ferguson

FERGUSON, Loree Dawson, 77, of Richmond, widow of James W. Ferguson, passed away on November 12, 2007. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Couch Dawson; her father, Elmo Dawson; and brother, Bobby Dawson of Lynchburg. She left a wonderful legacy in her three children and their families, Bruce W. Ferguson and his wife, Debbie; Barbara F. Walsh and her husband, Bobby; Betty F. Bilter and her husband, Fred; and her five grandchildren, Kelly Ferguson, Colin and Jillian Walsh, and Alyssa and Frederick Bilter. She is also survived by two aunts, Estus Tankersley of Pennsylvania and Frances Laining of Richmond. Loree was a wild bird enthusiast, enjoyed working daily crossword puzzles and eating fried green tomatoes, but most of all, loved being with her family. She will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Henrico Volunteer Rescue Squad.
