To The Family of Mr. Thomas Wright:
My wife and I had the joy of visiting with your father many times during his stay at McGuire. He loved fried fish and I would take some over to him once a week. Just to watch him enjoy them and to express how much he appreciated our presence and concern for him was a ministry to us. I will miss him but will also remember his mild manner and his testimony. He would admit that he had not been all that he should have been but he was thankful that God had beem merciful to him and had been good to him. I served him communion one Sunday when he was so weak that he could barely hold the plastic cup but he was so thankful and it meant so much to him. I was able to do for him what I could not do for my father when he was on his death bed, partly because of my unforgiveness. May you hold onto the pleasant memories you may have of him. We are praying for you.

To the Family
I had come to know "Tommie Wright," as I always called him by his entire name from a friend named "Doc Fowlkes" and from this point on I learned a many important lessons. People soon forget those who wait passively in the path of life, while those who are in the mist of sharing and living the life our God has given is never forgotten. In later conversations I found that Tommie Wright was a babysitter for my "Uncle James Murchison and Mother-in-law Shirley Murchison"(many, many years ago and that he worked for Reynolds Metals Company, just as I. Tommie Wright lived the life that has led him to his eternal home. I am happy that we crossed paths during the earthly life! Homeward bound, Tommie Wright!
Sincerely
