James Eugene Arnold, 87, of Greenfield, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021 at home.
He was born April 23, 1934, in Norwood, Ohio, the son of Dorsey and Geneva (Burns) Arnold.
James was a member of the Greenfield First United Methodist Church. He retired in 1991 from the Yamaha Motor Company where he served as the district sales manager and then was employed part-time at WSRW as an announcer for 13 years.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Lee Arnold, whom he married on Oct. 15, 1955; one daughter, Katherine Lynn Smith of Greenfield; two grandsons, Grant (Tonia) Smith of Columbus and Matthew Smith of Greenfield; two great-granddaughters, Kinley and Lexie; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Arnold; and both parents.
Cremation will take place and there will not be a service observed.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Adena, 111 W. Water St., Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.
