Barbara Cahill

1935 - 2022

Barbara A. Lippy Cahill, 87, of Katy Texas, formerly of Norristown PA and Westminster MD, passed away on Monday April 18, 2022. Born in York, PA on February 26, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Reverend J. Edmund (Bud) Lippy and Grace Genevieve Emery Lippy. Barbara graduated from Cedar Crest College and Saint Joseph University. She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She enjoyed music and lively conversations with friends. And when our family gathered for events she loved seeing us all together. Christmas was her favorite time of year, she always decked out her home and porch area. Barb was preceded in death by her husbands (Vincent Cahill Jr and Donald Bruce Burger), stepson (Vincent Cahill III), sons (Robert Bruce Burger and William Henry Burger), daughter-in-law (Noreen Burger) and her brother (Joseph Edmund Lippy Jr). She is survived by her daughter Katherine Conner (Robert) of North Wales, her step-son James Cahill (Linda) of Colorado, and her step-daughter’s Mary Hinkle (John Jeffrey) of Harleysville and Kathryn Kowey (Richard) of Souderton. As well as 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Graveside service will be on Saturday, June 11th, at noon in the Westminster Cemetery, 12 North Church Street, Westminster, MD, 21157.
