Harry Butera Obituary
He was born in Conshohocken, Pa. on Dec. 22, 1924 to the late Frank and Lena (Tornetta) Butera. Harry was a graduate from Conshohocken High School. He was a veteran of WWII serving with the US Navy. Harry worked for his family's business Town Valet Cleaners for over 30 years and was a Real Estate Investor.
He was a member of SS. Cosmas and Damian Church. Harry loved pigeon racing, traveling, spending time with his family especially grandchildren and enjoying family dinners. Along with his wife Cecila, his is survived by his daughters Carole Culbreth and Elaine Petrecz, his grandchildren Marisa Culbreth, Jackie Downing, Christopher Culbreth, his brother Augustus Butera, and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his brothers Charles and Frank Butera and sisters Frances Zinni and Sarah Diana. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at SS. Cosmas and Damian Church, 209 W. 5th Ave., Conshohocken. The Viewing will be from 9 -10:30 a.m. at Church.
Entombment will be in St. Matthew Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations in Harry's name to Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley, 399 Market St., Suite 102 Philadelphia, PA 19106.
