Vivian Shupert Obituary

Vivian “Lee” Shupert (nee Sowers) – 79, of Cape May Point, NJ and formerly of Doylestown, PA passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home with her family at her side on Monday, February 7, 2022. Lee worked for the Cape May County Department of Aging and retired as the RSVP Director. She was a longtime member of both the Church of the Advent, Cape May and St. Peter’s-By-The-Sea, Cape May Point where she was very active and held various positions. Lee enjoyed many things in her life, to name a few: her gardens, birds, monarch butterflies and relaxing on the beach. She is predeceased by her husband, William Ingram Shupert and her daughter, Heather Shupert Benson. Lee is dearly missed and forever loved by her family which includes her daughter, Cynthia (and Donald) Campbell; grandson, Ryan Campbell; sisters, Cheryl McGranahan (nee Sowers) and Jill (nee Sowers) and her husband, Warren Brown; as well as her nieces and nephews. A celebration of Lee’s life will be announced at a later date, anticipated Spring of 2022. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Peter’s-By-The-Sea Episcopal Church, PO Box 261, Cape May Point, NJ 08212.
