William Rowland

1951 - 2018

William C. Rowland “Bill” passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on February 11, 2018 at age 66. Born on May 26, 1951 in Norristown, Bill was the son of the late Helen D. (nee Gibson) and William A. Rowland. He resided in East Norriton with his beloved wife of 40 years, Dorothyann “Dottie” M. (nee Tidd) Rowland. Bill was the loving father of Kristin L. Rowland of Chino Hills, CA and the brother of Judie A. Evan (Mike) and Debbie Rowland (Claire). He is survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, beloved dog Kody, grand dog Vixen, as well as many friends and will be missed by all who knew him. Bill graduated from LaSalle University and went on to become the CFO at Gilmore and Associates where he recently retired. He was a Mason from Shiloh-MacCalla Lodge #558, and a member of Modtiques Car Club. Bill was proud of his pristine 1955 Chevy muscle car and enjoyed golfing. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Relatives and friends are invited to Bill’s Life Celebration at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike on Thursday February 22nd from 10 to 11:30 AM with a service to follow at 11:45 AM.
