Gertrude Fried-Calodney Obituary
Born in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Samuel and Pauline Lovenkron Fisher, she was an avid tennis player, and also enjoyed dancing. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.
Surviving is a son, Dr. Martin B. Fried; a daughter, Judith Ducray; a brother, Morris Fisher; a sister, Mary Rawlins; as well as seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family. Shiva will be observed at the residence of her son, Dr. Martin B. Fried, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, from 7-9. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity. Arrangements by the Ziman Funeral Home, Inc., 612 E. Gibson St., Scranton, PA 18510.
