Mary Antonini Obituary

June 15, 2004

Mary Elizabeth (Albertelli) Antonini of Waverly, formerly of the Keystone section of Plains Township, passed away at Beverly Manor Care, Scranton, on June 15, 2004.

She was born and reared in the Keystone section of Plains Township. She was the daughter of the late Luigi and Francesca Palonga Albertelli.

She was a graduate of Plains Township High School and was employed as a floor lady in the garment industry. She was a member of St. Gregory Church, Clarks Green, the Abington Golden Age Club, the Scranton Catholic Charismatic Nativity Prayer Group and the Dolphi Fire Co.

She was preceded in death by husband, Marino ``Chris' Antonini; brothers, Orlando Albertelli and John Panatieri; six sisters, Violanda Carnevalli, Sylvia Rossi, Anna Sassi, Louise Giovagnoli, Susan Antonini and Florinda Arisiti.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews. Her caregivers are Lee, Mary Joy Havey and family.

The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday from the Adonizio Funeral Home Inc., 251 William St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Pittston, with the Rev. Paul A. McDonnell and Father Lee Havey C.P. officiating. Burial will be in the Lithuanian Cemetery, West Wyoming.

The viewing will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday.
