Maureen Baab Obituary
MOUNTAIN TOP — Maureen Baab, 62, of Mountain Top, passed away at home, Tuesday, June 28, 2022 with family by her side.
Born in Princeton, N.J., she was the daughter of the late William and Sophie Monaghan and was a member of St. Mary, Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Wapwallopen, where she was a past Sunday School teacher, Eucharistic Minister and Lector. She enjoyed Bee keeping; gardening, bird watching and spending time with family. She was employed as a production manager for Bic in Pittston and was an avid Green Bay Packers Fan.
Maureen is survived by her loving family, husband of 26 years, John Baab; daughter, Erica Baab of Wapwallopen; sister, Kathleen Wall of Trenton, N.J.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. from the Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation, 436 S. Mountain Blvd. Mountain Top with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary, Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 3529 St. Mary's Road, Wapwallopen, PA 18660 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation form 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2022 and from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
