William Strunk Obituary

GLENDALE — William "Billie" Norman Strunk Jr., 78, of Glendale, died Monday afternoon, Feb. 19, 2018, at Scranton Regional Hospital.

Born in Glendale on Sept. 3, 1939, son of the late William Norman Strunk and Beatrice Strunk Yeager, Billie graduated from Moosic High School. He is survived by his sister, Marilynn Silfee, of Hershey, brother, Lewis Strunk, of Duryea, nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. He was also preceded in death by brother Ronald Strunk.

Billie loved the Lord and attended Glendale Gospel Chapel and Moosic Alliance Community Church.

A Homecoming Celebration will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at the Moosic Alliance Community Church, 608 Rocky Glen Road, Rocky Glen section of Moosic. Interment will be private at Slocum Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Moosic Alliance Community Church, 608 Rocky Glen Road, Moosic, PA 18641.

Arrangements are under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, 517 N. Main St., Old Forge. Please visit the funeral home's website for directions or to leave an online condolence.
