Timothy McGuire Obituary
54, died peacefully on Oct. 19, 2014 after a sudden and brief illness. Tim was the loving son of Merry Jo McGuire of Uhrichsville and the late Robert D. McGuire. Tim is also survived by daughter Jessica McGuire Chilson, son-in-law Josh Chilson and granddaughter Kyra of Antioch, Tenn and step-mother Sally McGuire of Uhrichsville.
Loving siblings are Polly Clark and husband Gregg of Uhrichsville, Mic McGuire and wife Janet of Uhrichsville, Randy McGuire and wife Susan of Oakton, Va., Todd McGuire and wife Mistie of Millfield, Ohio, and Scott McGuire of Uhrichsville. Tim was also a beloved uncle to nieces Heather and Hanna Clark and Lindsey, Brytton, Kelsey, Emersynn, D'Laynee, Colleen, and Erin-Grace McGuire.
A member of First United Methodist Church of Uhrichsville and 1978 graduate of Claymont High School where he played football, Tim had an impressive 36-year career at Superior Clay Corporation in Uhrichsville where he was a press operator and kiln setter.
Interment of ashes and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. For those that wish to remember Tim, his family encourages donations to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Ave. SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663 or First United Methodist Church of Uhrichsville.

Tim you never be forgotten. Your laughter made us smile all day. I remember the days of being in band I made everyone laugh at one event and you brought that up every time I saw you. Tim you still have us laughing.

To Tim's family, what a special man and growing up at Claymont a great friend. His infectious smile, quick whit and fun loving approach to life, I'm sure followed him through life. To the McGuire family I didn't know this page was available. Just wanted to offer my condolences Tim (Buzzard) was a great guy and friend> I always loved his ornery smile. I saw him for the first time in years at the St. Mary's festival with Sput I almost didn't go to the festival, but am so glad I did. It was really great growing up with you guys..we really had a great time..it wouldnt have been half as much fun without you guys as my best friends and neighbors...tim always was the happy kid to loved to have fun..and we all had a ball..i know timmy is in a good place..if he runs into dad and mom...im sure he will..dad will have a cigar...they may even find teddy roosevelts baby shoe...ask mic...about that one..god bless you guys..so long timmy..we will all see you again my old friend,...

I am really saddened by the sudden loss of Tim. I think I first met Tim at the Uhrichsville pool when we were 7 or 8 years old. I am very grateful that I got to spend some time with him again after not having seen him for quite some time. He was a great guy and I will miss him.
