Alda Lanci

SARATOGA SPRINGS Alda Rondine Lanci, 92, a resident of the Wesley Healthcare Center, died Friday, July 4, 2003 after a long and wonderful life. Born in Fano, Italy, Alda first moved to Auburn, N.Y. and then lived for 30 years on Lanci Lane in Colonie before moving to Florida and then to Saratoga Springs. She was the wife of the late Peter Lanci and was a homemaker for most of her life. She was a former communicant of the Church of St. Clare in Colonie and a former member of the Colonie Village Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Alda was the mother of Anita Canali of Palm City, Fla., John Lanci of Saratoga Springs and the late Peter Lanci Jr.; sister of the late Aurora Rondina and Eugene Rondine. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral 8:15 Tuesday morning from the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie and at 9:00 at the Church of St. Clare, 1947 Central Ave., Colonie. Entombment will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park.
