He attended Bethlehem High School and Bard College. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 75 for many years. All of those who knew and loved Benjamin will remember him as a loving, caring, person, with a wonderful sense of humor. He loved music, movies, skiing, and reading and writing stories. He played the violin in the school orchestra for seven years. As a Boy Scout he went on many camping trips, including Philmont in New Mexico and Youth Leadership. I will miss my dear and good friend Ben deeply. Words cannot describe the bond that two friends have, then suddenly one of those friends has been taken away. When I heard of Ben's passing, the tears just flowed, as they still do.

Ben was a very special and dear friend to me, a friend that, when we needed each other, we were there for each other.

Miss and love you Nen,

your dear Friend,

Michael S.

Farewell my friend. I will never forget you and the times we spent together. This type of injustice is unfair and I will do everything in my power to in turn assure you recieve the justice that you deserve. I love you and you will forever be my brother.

On my honor I will do my best, to do my duty to god and my country. To obey the scout law. To help other people at all times. To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight. I shall live by this everyday in memory of my lost friend to ensure his presence is never forgotten.
