It will be 3 years Sunday Mom and it still feels like yesterday. I still wake up praying I had a bad dream. We carry on for the kids but nothing else. We miss u terribly..so much it hurts. We love you and can't wait til were all together again.

I didn't find out about your mom's death until months after....I still can't believe it. I wouldn't have made it through my time at Sage without seeing her everyday in Admissions. We played tricks on your Mom and she would laugh, we'd cry to your mom and she would wipe our tears away..she even brought ALL of us(Tour Guides) to your house for a family dinner! The good times we had. Know that your entire family is is my thoughts and that your mom will NEVER be forgotten.

I just found out about Carol's passing. Heartbreaking and I am filled with tears. Carol was one reason that made Sage so special. As one of her tour guides, I looked to Carol for guidance through my college years. She never let me down. Whenever I came back to campus, Carol was always the first person that I would visit. This world will not be the same without her!

Mom it's been 7 weeks today since you went to rest. Our hearts our broken and we miss you terribly. You put all of us ahead of yourself. We are lost without you but are ok knowing you are at peace. We love you so much and words can't describe the ache in our hearts when we wake up each morning and know you are not with us. The faith in God you instilled upon us and the love we have for each other are the only things that keep us going. May you rest in peace and truly understand how much you were and are loved.

I am so sorry for the sudden loss of your mother. My thoughts and prayers are with your during this difficult time. In a short time, you and your siblings will see signs from your mom. My mom's signs are a humming bird in my flower garden and a red cardinal at my bird feeder. She was fond of both. Carol was a dear and wonderful woman. I remember all the laughter she caused and smiles she brought to our faces at Russell Sage. She was a humble person who never complained. It is so very clear from the messages here, how much and and how very deeply Carol touched the lives of so many....myself included while she was at Sage. The loss of such a warm, humble and loving person. Is so very, very sad but the joy she left in our hearts...especially her familes...is a large measure of comfort.

Carol was one of the first people I met at Russell Sage College as a prospective student and one of the reasons I choose Sage. She was a very special person and treated all of the student workers like family.

I remember Carol from our high school days. We were such good friends. She was so much fun to be with and had such a great disposition. We saw each other at our 50th grade school reunion where she talked about how much she enjoyed her grandchildren. She was such a beautiful bright light. My heart and goes out to her family.

To Carol's family, I was one of Carol's girls at Russell Sage, at least that's how I felt, it was how we all felt. Carol was like another mom to all of us and we knew that we could turn to her for anything. I loved seeing her at the desk when I came through the door and I know that she singlehandedly turned my day around on many many occassions. She was a strong, beautiful, loving woman and a true gift to us all. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this difficult time.
