Donald M. Decker

Decker, Donald M. MALTA Donald M. Decker, 68 of Malta, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Merritt and Frances Decker. Don was a C.D.L. driver for many years with U.S. Foods in Clifton Park. After retiring, he drove a shuttle for Ziebart of Albany. Don had a great love for music and motorcycles. He was the bassist for a local band, Fracture, during the 1980's. Don enjoyed hunting with his brothers-in-law and longtime friends. He is the father of Donald (Rene) Decker Jr. and Christopher (Kacey) Decker. Don is the cherished Papa to Madilynn and Reese. He is the brother of Merri (Andrew) Knight and Aileen Decker. Don is the uncle of Thomas and Geoffrey Williams. He is the former spouse and dear friend of Sue Decker. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 11, at 10 a.m. at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Don's family on Friday, June 10 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens.
