Elizabeth Fontaine Obituary
HALFMOON - Elizabeth M. Fontaine, 86, passed away at her residence on April 22, 2023.
Born in Cohoes, she had resided in Halfmoon since 1962 and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Jeannette Messier Forget. She was the wife of the late James R. Fontaine. Elizabeth had been employed at the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance. She enjoyed camping, NASCAR, dirt track racing, and especially spending time with her family.
She was the loving mother of Cynthia Remillard, Michael (Rose) Fontaine and Liza (Dwane) Lockrow; and sister of the late Leo, Arthur and Rose Forget and Bernadette Stewart. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the Marra Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the Marra Funeral Home on Friday from 4-7 p.m.
