Janet M. Kalogridis

Kalogridis, Janet M. NISKAYUNA Janet M. Kalogridis, 55, of Fox Hollow Rd., died Saturday, August 13, 2011 as a result of a brief illness of colorectal cancer. Janet was born in Yonkers, the daughter of Albert and Joan Dulak. She was a graduate of SUNY Oneonta and earned her master's in social work at SUNY Albany. For several years she was a clinical social worker at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital and Community Hospice of Schenectady. Janet will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother, who was very witty, loved to laugh and read. Her favorite time spent was being in the kitchen, where she was an extraordinary baker and cook, creating for family and friends. She was a communicant of St. Helen's Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Michael P. Kalogridis; and their cherished daughter, Alayna Kalogridis; and many cousins. Janet was predeceased by her brother, Richard Dulak. Funeral service Tuesday morning 8:15 from the Daly Funeral Home, Inc., 242 McClellan St., Schenectady and 9 at St. Helen's Church (1801 Union St., Niskayuna) where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours Monday afternoon 4 to 8 in the evening at the funeral home. Interment Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
