The entire Colonie Football family mourns the loss of Jerry 'Javon' Jones. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Javon's family and friends. Javon will always be remembered as a young man who had a kind heart, a big smile and considerable talent. He will be missed.

Javon was a student of mine in elementary school. I remember his excitement as her learned to read. He kept us on our toes, and we laughed a lot. So sad to see you go. Godspeed, Javon, sleep with the angels.

Javon was a student of mine in elementary school. He had his moments, but we had so much fun. I watched him learn to read and saw his excitement as he succeeded. He had such a great sense of humor he kept us laughing. It was an honor to know his wonderful family. Godspeed, Javon, sleep with the angels.
