John was my boss and friend at Lewis Equipment. Ho was an old school, no nonsense kind of guy. He was firm but had a great sense of humor. He loved country music and had recorded his own songs. I remember one called "All Meat and No Potatos" that he let me hear and it still makes me smile. Although I had not seen John in several years, he crossed my mind many times. God bless your soul John.

Sorry to hear about John. He was our neighbor on Sheridan Avenue in Albany and he also worked with my husband Jack Smith at Lewis Equipment. He was a great man. May he rest in peace.
