Lee H. Bulson

Bulson, Lee H. BRUNSWICK Lee H. Bulson, 64, a lifelong resident of Route 7 in Brunswick died suddenly, Saturday, January 2, 2010 at the Albany Medical Center. Born in Troy, October 2, 1945, Lee was the son of the late Homer L. and Dorothy F. (Krogh) Bulson. Lee attended Tamarac High School. For several years he was employed as a carpentry former at the General Electric Company's West Milton job site where he worked on the of the prototype of U.S. Navy "Trident" submarine. He later worked for several years at the Norton Company in Watervliet. Lee retired in 1980. From a young age, Lee loved to tinker with and "tune up " anything with an engine. For over 25 years, he was a member of the Tremont 115 Race Team and assisted in building motors used in the racecar. He also helped out his friend Russ King at Goyer Power Equipment in Brunswick when the shop had a backlog of mechanical work. In his quiet time, Lee loved to walk the woods and camp at Sacandaga Lake and was an avid hunter and fisherman. His surviving family includes his sister, Lesley Waters of Brunswick; five nieces and nephews, Dennis G. Bulson and Charles J. (Catherine) Bulson, both of Ill., William L. (Tracey) Waters of Glenmont, Colleen Waters of Brunswick and Kelly Waters of Cohoes; and a special family friend and cousin, Lori Bulson of Pittstown. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Howard B. Tate & Son Funeral Home Inc., located at 2237 NY Route 7 in Raymertown with Rev. Gaylord Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Hill Cemetery in Troy. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6010 County Farm Road, Ballston Spa, NY 12020 in memory of Lee H. Bulson.
