Margaret R. Caffrey

RENSSELAER Margaret R. Caffrey, age 88 years, of Forbes Avenue, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at Albany Memorial Hospital. She was born in Westfield, Mass. and has lived in Rensselaer for 11 years, having moved there from Pompano Beach, Fla. Margaret was a self-employed nurses aide. She was a member of the Broadway United Methodist Church in Rensselaer and the Rensselaer Senior Citizen Center. She was a very artistic person who loved to restore antique dolls and was involved in teaching her fellow residents of 460 Forbes Avenue crafts. Daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Poulin Sauers; mother of Marie (Glen) Van Acker of Valatie and the late James Michael Caffrey and Thomas J. Caffrey Jr.; grandmother of Joseph James (Paige) Caffrey of Charlotte, N.C.; great-grandmother of James Michael and Katherine Mollie; former spouse of the late Thomas J. Caffrey Sr. A memorial funeral service will be held from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer Saturday morning at 10:00. All are welcome to attend.
