Marie Louise Hagadorn Murdock

Murdock, Marie Louise Hagadorn SARATOGA SPRINGS Marie Louise Hagadorn Murdock died June 20, 2016, at the Wesley Health Care Center. She was 94. Born in Albany, she spent most of her life in the Capital District area with the exception of six wonderful years as a resident of Harwich, Cape Cod, Mass. with her beloved husband John. Mary Lou was a graduate of St. Agnes School, Loudonville and Oswego State University. She was a third grade teacher in Albany and worked many years for Hamagreal Elementary School as a tutor for home bound children and as a noon hour playground aide. Mary Lou was a devout Episcopalian and has been a member of St. Stephen's Church, Delmar, St. Christopher's Church, Chatam, Mass. and most recently The Church of the Massiah, Glens Falls. She served on the Altar Guild and was an active volunteer in numerous church fundraisers. Mary Lou is survived by her two daughters, Lynn Haase (Carl) of Seattle and Betsy DelGiacco (Desmond) of Saratoga Springs; four grandchildren, Jennifer Haase of Bainbridge Island, Wash., John Haase (Maya) of Sonoma, Calif., Eamon DelGiacco (Megg) of Middlebury, Vt. and Abby DelGiacco of Saratoga Springs as well as eight great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at the The Church of the Messiah, 296 Glen St., Glens Falls. Burial will follow at 12 p.m. at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Rd., Schuylerville. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J.
