Patsy P. Sterantino

Sterantino, Patsy P. RENSSELAER Patsy P. Sterantino, age 90 years, of Third Avenue Ext. passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Van Rensselaer Manor in North Greenbush. He was a resident of the Rensselaer and East Greenbush area his entire life. Mr. Sterantino was employed as a foreman for the Albany Woolen Mills and the Ballston Knitting Co. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph Church in Rensselaer, attending St. John's Church for many years. He was a member of the East Greenbush Fire Co. Husband of the late Mary Russo Sterantino; father of Ross Sterantino of West Sand Lake and Joseph Sterantino (Mary H. Lisa) of Castleton; grandfather of Daniel and Emily Sterantino; great-grandfather of Olivia and Samuel Sterantino; stepfather of Phillip Malandrucolo of Rotterdam and the late Theresa Cleary; brother of Dominic Sterantino, Blanche Albright, Mary Vecciarelli, Anthony Sterantino and the late Joseph Sterantino and Josephine Raible; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer, Tuesday morning at 9:30 and 10:30 at St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph Church Herrick Street Rensselaer where the Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be offered.
