Dear Neville Family,
Valorie and I would like to express our deepest sympathy to all. Bob was a one of a kind! Great leadership & communication skills but most important he was a friend with a message. Bob brought out the best in people and when I was a young firefighter he was truly and inspiration and example. He taught the Mod Squad how to lead and never follow. The only thing he did have a hard time with is teaching us to how to behave. He could have fun with the best of them, with of course that very distinctive laugh! He will be sorely missed in this world. One day we will all be together and we will still be trying to figure out how the heck to get him out of the driver's seat in the pumper. Rest in peace Chief Robert Neville.
