Jean, Deborah, Patricia, Debra and John:

For 48 years I had the good fortune to be able to call Dale my friend. Our association began in October 1962 when as the DM with GSR in Atlanta he made the decision to hire me as the sales rep for Knoxville, Tenn. Under his tutelage and with the disciplines he imbued, over a period of many years I was able to climb the career ladder and ultimately become the GSR National Sales Training Manager. As Dale transitioned into Gillette International with headquarters in Hong Kong, then back into PaperMate U.S., first in Atlanta then Chicago and finally into Boston as National Accounts Manager, we continued to stay in touch. In the early 1980s, when we were both living as singles in Weymouth Commons, we shared many a pleasant evening together. Over the years I purchased: a sofa from Dale's house in Atlanta; a beautiful pearl necklace which Dale bought for me in Hong Kong; and his used Volvo in Weymouth. Dale graciously provided his Weymouth apartment to my mom and dad from Florida when my oldest daughter Jeanne got married in Scituate, Mass. Jeanne still has the music box Dale gave her for the birth of her oldest son Scott McGee.

Thank you Dale for teaching me the words to "Back Home Again In Indiana" while we were on blade display installations, how to make intelligent entries into my account record books, and how to be the best I could be.

Godspeed Dale, RIP.

Dear Jean and family: It has been a long time since we have seen or talked with you but when I saw his beautiful face in the paper today I had to let you know how much we loved Dale. I met him in 1968 when I worked for The Toni Company for Roy Davidson. Dale was such a wonderful and caring man and was always so very nice to me. We also lived for a short time down the street from you and Dale at Horseshoe Bend. Jim and I retired about 10 years ago but we have fond memories of our times with Gillette and the wonderful people like you and Dale. I plan to call Harvie Banks and let her know of Dale's passing. I just had to smile when I read the notice that Dale is seeing his beautiful daughter again. What a great reunion. Love,

Dale was a dear, dear man. My husband, Dave and I enjoyed many golf and social outings with him while they lived here in Roswell. Dave loved Dale's zest for life. I know how much Jean loved him and will miss him. Dave and Carol Boucher
