I worked with "Jerry" many years ago at the Duval County Sheriff's Office, and had the pleasure of speaking with him last month at a charity golfing event. I will never forget the first time that I met Gerald and was welcomed into the Pugh family with a big bear hug, kiss, and later with a series of funny jokes. During the next two years, it was always the same greeting but I began to know a loving, kind and caring person that I could respect. I sure will miss him.

My heart is heavy over the loss of my brother, Gerald but also overflowing with all the happy memories of our lives together. He was always there for me in the good times and and the sad times. I will truly miss his sense of humor and his great love of life and people. His presence could light up a room. I mostly will miss our love of golf that we shared and over the fact that most of the time he could beat his older brother and how proud he would be of that "score card". I love you Buddy and miss you but will see you soon.

Gerry and I met many years ago on a deer hunt. He admired the Bronco I drove at the time and bought it from me. We often talked about those days when we would meet at Morocco Shrine. We became closer friends through our fraternal interests. Sincere sympathy is extended to the Pugh Family.

Grace, Taylor, Emily and I loved Uncle Jerry very much and he will truly be missed. I especially will miss playing golf and hunting with him. He was always happy and fun to be around. He just loved life. We will miss him very much.
