Glen and I just heard about Aunt Kay's passing and wanted to tell her family how sorry we are to hear it. We met Aunt Kay for the first time last year and Sandy and Richard were such good caretakers and we saw how much love and respect they had for her and we regret not having known her over her lifetime. When Kay's mom Mary died the family was split apart and sadly they lost contact. We found Kay and "Tuck" in recent years and always wanted to meet them. We weren't fortunate enough to meet him but were thrilled to meet Kay. Again we send our sympathy and hope your good memories of her help in your loss. Pat and Glen Harris

Mom,
I'll miss you forever. You and dad were the best parents a child could ask for. I'm glad your together again, I know how much you missed him. Give him a kiss for me. Everytime I go fishing, you'll both be right there beside me.
Love Bill

My sincerest condolences to the Wofford family. I did not know Mrs. Wofford well, but our families were neighbors on Pennant Dr. (so many memories!). Maggie always had such wonderful things to say about her (still does), and all of the selfless things she did for so many people (the Thanksgiving Dinners for needy families, her 'open door' policy, and more)...

May your dearest memories help sustain you during this difficult time.

Love,
Monica Darrah

Mrs.Wofford was a wonderful woman and well-loved by all the neighborhood kids (and adults). I remember paying pool there and just hanging out and the Wofford house always being "open". I know she will be missed by so many people, young and old.

My heart goes out to the Wofford family. I know you'll all miss her so much.

Love,

The Woffard family are in my thoughts and prayers. Mrs.Woffard's family not only had a wonderful loving mother they had a blessing!Kaye Woffard was special and one of a kind. She was a kind hearted sole, and we will all miss her.

I was one of the neighborhood kids that enjoyed the pool table and juke box in the 60's! It was never a question of being welcomed ....it was just a "given" When I later had a family of my own I borrowed her policy of the open door..... looking back I realize what a smart woman she was! She knew where her children were because she made her home warm and welcome. There were times that her loving home was a welcomed shelter for me.

Long before hair conditioner Mrs. Woffard would give me fabric softener for my hair!Funny how you remember these things some 40 years later!

Mrs. Wofford always treated all of the kids as though they were her own. My heart is filled with loving memories of her! If you were a Woffard you knew you were loved.......

My sympathy goes out to all of the Wofford family. She was a kind hearted sole, and will be missed by all that knew her.

I remember as a kid in the 1960’s when the Wofford’s had a Juke Box, and Pool table. I think that nearly every kid in the neighborhood got to play on them one time or another.

Mrs. Wofford always treated all of the kids as though they were her own, and everyone was always welcome in their home.

God Bless…. Jimmy Darrah

This will be a very difficult time for everyone who knew Grandmother -- especially for Sandy (Mom). Thank you for all you've done these last few years, if it wasn't for you we would not have had the pleasure of her presence this long! Grandmother will truly be missed -- but we can all rejoice in the fact that she is no longer in pain and is at peace now.

I pray that this time of sadness will turn to wonderful reflection on the times shared together as family. It is amazing that so many people were touched by her life. Although I did not know her personally, I have heard such sweet things thru Jennifer. My prayers and with the family as you go thru this difficult time. "Fear not, for I am with you ALWAYS"....It's a promise from God!

Dear Bill,
I am so sorry for your loss. When I lost my Father this year, you were so kind and supportive. Remembering my father and talking with you about him helped me a great deal. I know that the bond between you and your mother was great. And I urge you to keep your memories of her close now, and know that in heaven she is healthy and happy. Take care. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Kay Wofford was my Mother, friend, advisor, consultant. Her life is celebrated and reflected in the lives she gave birth to and the lives she touched while here with us.

Kay is now with our Lord and Savior and renewed to a wholeness we can only imagine. Peace and joy will be with her forever more.

Praise be to GOd.
