Our heart aches for the loss of such a wonderful man (Our papa). He will always be remembered as the best father in law, Grandfather and Papa one could ask for. He and granny raised almost all their grandchildren until they were old enough for Pre-K, and I am so thankful for that opportunity to spend those years seeing papa having breakfast ready when the grandchildren got there, I saw such a magnificent love that he had for them (his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.) He passed surrounded by the same magnificent love he gave us. He was blessed to have Granny as his wife for 61 years, she was his gemstone. That dedication to marriage and family is his legacy to his grandchildren, etc. That true love never ends. It never was goodbye, it was, until we see each other again. Draw strength from Gods word:
"Absent from the body, present with the Lord." Be strong Granny and know we love you, and will always be there for you.
