Nick,
All the roads we have to walk are winding. And all the lights that lead are there blinding. There are many things that I'd like to say to you but I don't know how.
Baby your going to be the one that saves me and after all...you're my wonderwall.
There could never be another to make me feel the way you do.
I'm going crazy when I can't see you again.
I dont believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now.
<3 Everyday that goes by is closer to when I see you again.

Nick,
It's been a week already without you around.....but...
It only hurts when I'm breathing.
My heart only breaks when it's beating.
My dreams only die when I'm dreaming.
SO I hold my breathe to forget.
Lord I sure do miss him now.
Tampa won the Stanley Cup for you ;)
Hope all is well in heaven.

To Nick's Family;
Words cannot begin to express the loss that many people are feeling now. Nick was a friend of my daughter, Jessica and my nephew Mike. There were many times that Nick came by the house or I was picking my daughter up from your house. Nick was a true ray of sunshine in the life of all of those he knew. My life has been touched by Nick and I will forever remember him. May God bless and comfort you and your family. May you find peace in the promises of God.

Nick's death is a complete tragedy. I only met Nick a few times but he left a lasting impression on me. I think about his kindness and his sense of humor, but his smile was just unforgettable. Just a week ago he was giving me advice for college. He warned me about people who "are just different" and said you have to make the best of your life even when the circumstances aren't what you had hoped for. Well I hope that those who loved Nick can try to take that advice. Nick is far better off right now than those he left behind. I did not know Nick for long enough but I am praying for his family and friends. My heart goes out to them.

Nick,
I know that you are watching me because there are holes in the floor of heaven and your tears are pouring down, you are returning the tears that we have cried for you.
Every day gets harder...but I am only that much closer to seeing you again. When you wrap me in your wings and take me where you are. Where you and I will be together, once again, and you'll be smiling back at me, only than will I be free, when i can be where you are. There are times I swear I know your here, watching over me, my hope sees, what the future will bring. And I can see your face, your kiss I still can taste, not a memory erased. I see your star shining down on me, and I'd do anything if I could just be right there where you are. Anytime I feel alone, I close my eyes and dream of where you are. Baby I still believe I will touch you that Sweet Day that you take me there, where you are. We will be together baby. Im loving angels insted.

Dear Dyer Family,
Our hearts are so sad for your family. It was so evident that your family loved and supported Nick in everything he did, especially in ice hockey. We will always remember his incredible spirit and passion for the game. For Bob as a defensive coach, Nick was fun to coach and watch.
Especially from Robert: He was a great defense man, not afraid to take a penalty. Nick was never shy about sticking up for his goalie and teammates. I have great memories of Nick's passion for the physical element of hockey, if you know what I mean. He will be greatly missed and well remembered.
God bless you during this very difficult time.

Nick Dyer was the only guy that i have ever had so much love for...it was about 2 years ago (maybe longer) when he was playing on my brothers hockey team. I will never forget the first time we talked at the hotel and I gave him a pepsi twist- thats when I knew that we would be more than friends. Time went by and we slowly grew together more and more- Every monday and thursday I would see him at my brothers practices and we would talk before and after than than it started to be more... I remember all the guys always asking me if we were together and what was going on with us....but we never were offical. Yea we would sneak some kisses on those monday and wednesday nights.... but I was feeling something more. I remember this one time it was the day after Valentines day 2002 and we were running away together from these girls who thought they were fairies...than we spent all night sitting together outside watching the stars and talking. We had so many great little memories together- but like all great relationships there are some stones in the way- and we had ours- and we stopped talking for a long time.... I would call him here and there just to let him know that I still thought about him everyday.... I was trying to get over whatever was there and move on....but it was to hard for me. And now its to late.... I know that he is still here with us on earth.. hes only gone for a little and soon I will see him in heaven again.

Nick was such an amazing friend and he will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to all of those affected by this, but know everything happens for a reason, and that Nick would want you to celebrate his life, rather than mourn his death. RIP Nick... We'll all see you again sooner or later...

To the Family,
"Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal". I didn't know your son, but my heart felt so much sorrow for your family when I watched the news. Please take comfort in knowing the Lord now has one of his precious flowers with Him, and that He promised to never put more on us than we can bear. God bless and keep you at this time.
