Wilfred Payette Obituary

PAYETTE Wilfred “ Bill” Payette 90 passed away February 9, 2004. Bill was born in River Forest, IL. After marrying Evelyn Beaupre, they moved to East Hartford CT., the hometown of his bride. Bill worked as an aircraft mechanic at Pratt and Whitney in East Hartford, CT. and Hamilton Standard in Windsor, CT. The family moved to Melbourne, FL. in 1956, where Bill worked at Patrick Air Force Base until his retirement. Following his wife's death Bill moved to Jacksonville. Bill is survived by his son, Gregory (Ann) of Springfield, MO.; two daughters, Sister Marlene Payette, SSJ, Jacksonville, FL. and Sister Mary Lyn Payette, SSJ, St. Augustine, FL.; his sisters, Ruth Sarb and Dorothy Bisterfeldt and many nieces and nephews. The vigil service will be Friday, February 13, 2004 at 7:00pm; the funeral Mass will be February 14th at 1 :00 pm, with Bishop John Snyder presiding and Fr. Jim Moss concelebrant. Both services are at San Jose Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family s uggests memorial donations be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph of St. Augustine, FL Development Fund or Taylor Care Center.
