Mrs. Anna Priadka
Mrs. Anna Priadka, 89, formerly of Yankee Road, Mahoning Township passed into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at The Mahoning Valley Nursing & rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Wasyl Priadka.
Born in the Ukraine, she was a daughter of the late Ilko and Magdaline (Klychiaj) Wasilechko.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a structural cleaner in the building cleaning and maintenance trade in Philadelphia.
She was a member of St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Palmerton.
Surviving is a son, John I. Priadka, and his wife Barbara, of Jim Thorpe; a daughter Maria Ciarlante of Chambersburg; 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son Walter; and several sisters and brothers in the Ukraine.
Service: Panachida at 11 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Ovsak Funeral Home, 190 S. Fourth St., Lehighton, followed by The Divine Liturgy at noon at St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, 101 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, with the Rev. Dr. Vasyl Chepelskyy officiating. Call 10-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment in the parish upper cemetery.
