Bernadette F. "Bernie" KAMINSKI

KAMINSKI Bernadette F. "Bernie" Bernadette F. "Bernie" Kaminski, age 87 years, a former resident of the Astor House, died Monday, March 1, 2010, at the Spring Meadows Extended Care Facility with her children at her side. Bernie was born in Toledo's Polish Village on August 7, 1922 to Louis and Helen (Bartnik) Bieganski. She married Zigmund T. "Ziggy" Kaminski on July 25, 1947, who preceded her in death on April 16, 1998. Bernie worked for the former Mercy Hospital for 45 years, retiring as their Supervisor of Central Service Supply in 1987. She enjoyed playing bingo, lottery tickets and spending time at Round Lake. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving is her son, Ken (Molly) Kaminski; daughter, Patti (Ron) Schimming; grandchildren, Adrienne (Ryan) Reubusch, Bridget (Matt) Ziegler, Ryan Kaminski, Tarie (Bill) Simile, Jackie (Phil) Stankiewicz, Michelle (Nathan) Bowie and Amy (Ben) Remer; great-grandchildren, Sydnie, A.J., Sophie, Tessa, Reagan, Adam and Remi (deceased); brother, Dale (Judy) Bieganski and sisters, Dorothy (Bernie) Raczkowski, Elsie (Stan) Perz and Gerri (Ray) Konczal. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 17, 2010 beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the Thomas I. Wisniewski Funeral Home, 2426 North Reynolds Rd.
