Chad Sparks Obituary
Chad A. Sparks, 46, of Perrysburg, Ohio and formerly of Genoa, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 29, 1974, to Harold "Dave" D. and Susan W. (Boros) Sparks. Chad was a 1992 graduate of Genoa High School where he was a member of the football team.
Chad was a proud member of the Boilermakers Local 85 of Toledo, and worked on many local projects. He worked hard at his job and loved his family with the same vigor. He always looked forward to the time he spent with his children and grandchildren. His interests were very wide, and included, golfing, fishing, rock concerts, tattoos, NASCAR, and the WWE. He was a fan of Michigan and the Los Angeles Chargers football and Red Wing Hockey.
Chad is survived by his father, Harold "Dave" Sparks; children, Nichole Fuhr, Myranda (William) Cox, Casey (Summer) Fuhr, Dakota Sparks; seven grandchildren; brother, David Sparks; and wife, Cheryl Sparks. He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan; brother, Keith; and grandson, William Thomas Cox.
A memorial service will be conducted for Chad at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at St. John's United Church of Christ, 1213 Washington St., Genoa, Ohio, 43430 followed by interment in the Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa. The family suggests memorial contributions to St. John's United Church of Christ, or the donor's choice. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be shared with Chad's family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
