Diane was a mentor as I completed my student teaching with her. May her memory be a blessing to all who loved her, the students she touched and her family. Rest in heaven.

I am so sorry to hear of Diane's passing. She often served as a "guest teacher" at Springfield Local Schools during her retirement. During this time, I served as a building administrator. Since my sister's married name is "Knepper", I inquired about where she grew up and she shared that she grew up around Ottawa. I shared that my family lived in Pandora and she also shared that she grew up in Pandora. We were both Pandora-Gilboa graduates and found out that my dad (Charles Copeland) was her Student Council advisor when she was in school. It was a wonderful connection, and I always appreciated her positivity and her calm way of supporting students. I will miss her!
