Elena S.
Elena S. Jimenez, 83, died peacefully November 3, 2013. She was born November 25, 1929, to Simon and Teresa Sulaica in Crystal City, TX. Elena loved her family, and her delicious cooking brought everyone together. She enjoyed reading, watching old Perry Mason movies, and playing cards and games.
She is survived by her children, Louis (Suzanne), Linda Ann, Gloria Jean, Ricardo, Raul, Lydia Peralez, and Roberto (Judy) Jimenez; 11 grandchildren; 29 great- grandchildren, and 1 great-great; sister, Rosalinda Thayer, and brother, Jesse Sulaica. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis R. Jimenez in 1998; her son, Ronald, and siblings, Juanita Weyandt, Maria Trzonkowski, Simon Sulaica Jr., and Pablo Sulaica.
Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd. on Friday, November 8 from 2:00-8:00 p.m., with a Rosary service at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Coyle Funeral Home Saturday, November 9 at 9:30 a.m. followed by burial at Restlawn Cemetery. To the Jimenez/Sulaica family, my sincere and deepest sympathy goes out to all of you. Aunt Helen left so many of us with great memories. I keep thinking of so many times that her smile and laugh was so infectious. Oh how she loved her family, playing cards, being with family, she loved everyone, welcomed so many. I keep remembering, how she addressed her loved ones with "My Darling" Her saying I love you with a hug and a kiss. She was a wonderful lady. It was an honor to have known her. I keep imagining Ronny meeting her at the Pearly Gates, telling her..."Well it's about time you got here Mom, you took forever!"...she is with her loved ones. God has welcomed her home. She is at peace and she will always be loved. May God Bless the Jimenez/Sulaica family.
