Ralph Douglas "Doug" Lybarger, 85, passed away June 2, 2022 at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Doug was born July 19, 1936 in his family home in Grand Rapids, Ohio on E 3rd St. to Ralph and Anna (Shank) Lybarger. He was a graduate of the Anthony Wayne High School Class of 1955. On August 13, 1959 he married Dolly (Zeh) at the Neapolis Church of Christ.

Doug was a US Army Veteran serving at Fort Hood. He worked for Johns Manville for over 43 in Waterville until he retired in 1999. Doug was active at the Neapolis Church of Christ serving as a Deacon. Since his teens, he was an avid race fan. Doug was a farmer almost his whole life. As a teen, he was active in 4H, raised pigs and attended all the county fairs. He farmed his fields and worked a full time job. Doug and his family enjoyed camping during the summer breaks as his children were growing up, and Doug and Dolly continued this after he retired in Alabama and Florida.

Doug is survived by his sons, Dave (Deb) of Delta, Doug of Liberty Center, Dennis (Tammy) of Swanton, and Dean of Point Place; his 8 grandchildren, 10 great- grandchildren; and his sister, Jane Baldwin of Waterville. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Dolly Lybarger; his parents; and his granddaughter, Tiffany Lybarger.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, June 7th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Peinert Dunn Funeral Home, 6603 Providence St., Whitehouse, Ohio. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Neapolis Church of Christ, 8221 Main St., Neapolis, Ohio. Pastor Jeff Kimberly will officiate. Burial will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
