Randy Popoff Obituary
Randy S.
Randy S. Popoff, 55, of Toledo, passed away Monday, August 24, 2015, in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center after a short illness. He was a 1977 graduate of Rogers High School where he excelled in numerous sports. Randy was a former owner of Popoff's Pizza and Fine Lebanese Food. Known as "Big Ran," he enjoyed Blues music with his brother. He was a loving father and grandfather who always put others before himself.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, George and father-in-law, Bill Barrow. He is survived by his wife, Michelle; sons, Randy Jr. and Nick; daughter, Eveleen; mother, Dorothy; brother, Terry; sister, Christie (Art) Kieffer; grandchildren, Isaiah, Jaxton and Olivia Popoff and Kareem Jr. and Kamdyn Johnson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. where a Trisagion Service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church, 4940 Harroun Rd., where the family will receive visitors beginning at 10 a.m. Entombment Toledo Memorial Park. Memorials may take the form of contributions to Randy's grandchildren. Please view and sign the guest registry at:
