Bob (Perls) Perlinski, Lambertville, MI, passed away at age 78 on August 21, 2022. Bob was born in Toledo, OH to Bill and Phyllis. He went to Longfellow school and was a 1961 graduate of DeVilbiss High School. He received an Associate in Engineering Technology in 1967 from UT ComTech, and an Associate Degree in Applied Business, Marketing and Sales Technology with Honors from Owens Technical College in 1990. He was in the Army Reserves 983rd Engineers 1966-72, honorably discharged. Bob was in the grocery business for over 40 years with Krogers, and various food brokers, retiring in 2007 from P.L. Marketing as a sales rep. He earned many sales awards for his work. Bob was an 8-year member of Parents Without Partners #347, serving in many offices including as president, where he met his wife of 35 years, Mary Pat. Bob enjoyed bowling, with high game of 299 and an 801 and an 807 series. He liked to play cards, especially euchre, and he liked to golf, having made a hole-in-one twice. Bob used his craft skills making wooden birdhouses, corn hole games and ring toss games that he would share with family and friends. He was fascinated by magic and would learn tricks to show his grandchildren. Bob kept the yard and gardens in beautiful shape, trying new plants and flowers. Bob was a member of the American Legion for 36 years most recently with Conn-Weissenberger American Legion Post 587. He was a member of Maumee-BG Elks #1850 for 14 years, and a member of University of Toledo Alumni. He was an OSU fan and a UT Rockets fan, with season tickets for many years. He liked to travel with family and friends to Mexico, Myrtle Beach and Florida. Bob was very active in reunions for DeVilbiss High, and organized an annual alumni golf outing for many years.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Jan. He is survived by his wife, Mary Pat; daughter, Beth (Donnie); son, Kent (Hayley); step-son, Paul (Jeff); step-daughters, Juliana (Craig) and Sara (David); grandsons, Aidan, Arrik, Alijah, Tanner, Jase, C.J., Joshua, and Ryan; granddaughters, Lexi, Reese, Becky (Ken), Emily (Josh), Leah (Eric), and Abby; great-grands, Logan and Korra; his sister, Joyce (Chuck); niece, Heather (Mike); nephews, Kirk (Shawn), Brad, Keith (Corryn), Bobby (Sue), and their children; Darla, his former wife and mother of his children; and in-laws of the O'Neill and Quinn families.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 26 from 2- 8 p.m. at Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road (at Jackman), Temperance, MI, and funeral service on Saturday, August 27 at 11 a.m. with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery, Erie, MI. The family thanks his dear caregivers at Foundation Park Alzheimers Care Center in Toledo who cared for him in his last 4 months.
