Helen Speck

Helen Speck, 94, of West Mifflin, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014. She was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Majercik) Petrovic; and wife of the late James J. Speck. She is survived by her nieces, Elsie Ferencz, Mary Ann Lasko, Marlene Stumpf and Zuzann Petrovic; and nephews, Robert Bastik and Jon Petrovic. She was preceded in death by her son, James J. Speck; her sisters, Anna Matusovic and Mildred Bastik; brother, John Petrovic; nephew, David Bastik; and niece, Anka Petrovic. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at TEICHART-GRACAN FUNERAL HOME, Duquesne, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Christ Lutheran Church, at which time a funeral service will be held with the Rev. John Gropp. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park.
