John W. Carter

John W. "Jack" Carter, 72, of McKeesport, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, in UPMC McKeesport. Born in Trafford, he was a son of the late John C. and Lida Moxson Carter, and brother of the late Patricia Glasgow. He was retired from UPMC McKeesport, where he worked in the Engineering Department of Building Maintenance. Surviving are his wife, Margaret "Peggy" Carter; son, Sean Carter, of East McKeesport; daughter, Jennifer Carter, of Framingham, Mass.; granddaughter, Madelyn Grace Moran-Carter; and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the JAYCOX-JAWORSKI FUNERAL HOME INC., 2703 O'Neil Blvd., McKeesport, PA 15132. Inurnment will be private.
