Lee Fetterman Obituary

Lee W. Fetterman, 80, of Elizabeth (Forward Township), went home to be with his Lord Sunday, May 2, 2010, at his home. Born in Cloe, Pa., December 5, 1929, he was the son of the late Lee G. and Gertrude (Pittsley) Fetterman. Lee was a retired machinist from Copperweld in Glassport, and served in the U.S. Army. Lee loved and served the Lord in Mentor Road Bible Church and the New Tribes Mission. He is survived by his wife Myrtle (Heckman) Fetterman, whom he married January 1, 1951; two sons, Terry (Pam) Fetterman of Bremerton, Wash., and Ken (Lucy) Fetterman of Belle Vernon; two daughters, Nancy (John) Knepshield of Perryopolis, and Peggy (Anthony)Turkovich of Hunker; eight grandchildren, Lee (Casie) Fetterman, Erik (Crystal) Fetterman, Jennifer White, Jessica (Bill) Goglin, Monica (Brian) Hough, Stephen Turkovich and fianc? Dani, Lee T. Fetterman and Autumn Fetterman; seven great-grandchildren, Erika Fetterman, Katie and Taylor White, Kate, Emily and Ian Hough and Lee Thomas Fetterman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son and daughter-in-law Lee and Donna Fetterman; and a sister, Lois Capicotto. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Dr., Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township, (724-929-7934). www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com., where a funeral service will be Thursday, May 6, 2010, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Darrel Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
