My sympathies to Carolyn's family. Carolyn and I were "bff" many years ago. We had so much fun together as kids. While we hadn't seen each other for along time, I was glad to have visited with in recent years. She was a fun girl and sweet lady.

Carolyn was an extraordinary person in so many ways. I'm not sure I've ever met a more organized individual. Innumerable were the times that every person in a school board meeting would turn their attention to her as she efficiently extracted a clear and concise answer to a question or concern about anything relating to Pine-Richland school affairs.
Carolyn's ability to maintain a cheerful and pleasant demeanor in the toughest circumstances was remarkable. She brought a level of diplomacy to local school issues worthy of a world class diplomat--always kind, always discreet, and always professional.
Her performance in life was no doubt an outgrowth of her charming and humble character. My life was blessed being her acquaintance. The lives of her friends and family surely were enriched even more. She will be missed, but her memory will no doubt bring a smile to many, many faces as time passes.
Comfort and blessings to the Boice family.

Carolyn was just a gentle woman, and it was my privilege to serve with her as a volunteer at St. Richard's Church.

The entire Pine Richland family will miss her. She was a staunch supporter of teachers and their work. Carolyn was a beloved friend to all of us.

Dear Family,
I knew Carolyn at the ultimate professional when she served at secretary to the School Board. She was considerate, non-partisan, and always helpful, making both the outsider and the insider feel comfortable and that was no small feat. She also served our church well, and will be missed. I appreciate knowing her and offer you my deepest sympathy on your loss.

To Carolyn's family, we are so sorry for your loss. She was not just a secretary, but a guide in nearly everything there was to know about or do at Pine-Richland. Carolyn had the answers for our questions and eased any concerns we ever had. She continued to be such a person wherever she went. Blessings of comfort to all of you and peace in the memory of knowing how many lives she touched.
