Lawrence C. Peterman Sr.

Lawrence C. "Larry" Peterman Sr., 74, of Penn Hills, died peacefully Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016, while surrounded by family. He was the husband of 53 years to Heide Ingrid (Remde) Peterman; father of Monika (Michael) Edlis, Heide Zalar and Lawrence C. "Chris" (Debi) Peterman Jr.; grandfather of April Sexton, LeeAnn (Michael) Abraham, Nicole (Robert) Sanoske, Matthew Hordubay, Alexis Peterman, Belle Peterman, Lauren C. Peterman and Jacob Edlis; great-grandfather of Abree Sexton and Mikaella Abraham; and brother of Joseph and John "Jack" Peterman, Mary Lou Conti and the late Corabell Anson, Clement and James Peterman. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Larry was the proud owner of Peterman's Car Care and Towing. He is survived by his loyal employees, Bill Hordubay and Nick Satira. Going back to 1969, he worked hard to provide an honest and generous service to the Penn Hills community. He dedicated himself to his customers the same as his family, whom he adored. Larry also served in the Army.
Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at SOXMAN FUNERAL HOMES LTD./ROTH CHAPEL,7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road), Penn Hills. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
