David Stoughton Obituary

David Earl Stoughton, 76, of Murrysville, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008. He was born July 30, 1932, in Murrysville, a son of the late Vernon L. and Mildred F. McWilliams Stoughton. He was a retired forklift driver with Thorofare Markets with 19 years of service, and a member of Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville. He was a Korean War veteran, serving with the Army, a member of American Legion Post 711 of Murrysville, and a member of the Murrysville Senior Citizens, where he was active in bocce and playing cards. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Stoughton, in 1988. Earl is survived by his wife of 51 years, Juanita Krivacsy Stoughton; a son, Donald (Kathy Weaver) Stoughton, of Butler; a daughter, Diana (Drew Hazen) Stoughton, of Ingram; five grandchildren, Brekka Stoughton, Gryphon Saldin, Kyl Hazen, Katya Hazen and Eric Weaver; a sister, Dorothy Yeager, of Export; a brother, Floyd Stoughton, of Moab, Utah; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the HART FUNERAL HOME INC., Murrysville. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville.
