Donnie Jerina, 9, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004, at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, from complications of Robert's Syndrome. He was born Feb. 4, 1995, in Orlando, Fla., the son of Donnie and Joni Jerina, of Greensburg. He was a fourth-grade student at Fort Allen Elementary School. Donnie was a member of Mt. Odin Golf Course and was an avid golfer and enjoyed his quadrunner. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Don and Hope Jerina. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Jack and Ida Senic, of Jeannette; maternal great-grandmother, Mary Swartz, of Harrison City; aunts and uncles, Sue (Jerina) and Wil Carpenter and their daughter, McKenzie, Vic and Kathy Senic and their son, Jeramiah, Jackie "Aunt Wacky" Senic and her son, Josh, Michelle and Jimmy Jones and their daughters, Kayla and Dakota, and Johnny and Michelle Senic and their daughter, Dominique; other family members, Ellen and Randy Lingo, Grandma Joyce, and his especially loved godfather, Uncle Mike and his dog, Dummie; and many other loving aunts, uncles and friends. Don Don, with his special personality, has touched many lives, leaving everyone who knew him with many great memories. Friends will be received at the BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets, Greensburg, Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral liturgy will be held at the funeral home Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Daniel C. Mahoney officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hempfield Township.
